Hello. I have a swollen prostate; can not urinate normally and I am getting infections. The doctor wants to make a procedure using laser to ease the urethra. I would like an alternative, natural, solution; but at the same time I am in a hurry because usually I am retaining 250 ml in my bladder.

Infections are a different issue than an enlarged prostate causing blockages. In my experience there is usually something or things that you are eating or meds that cause an excessive reaction and extra swelling.
By changing your diet and learning what causes your problem, you can change your condition. I go into great length to discuss these issues in my books, and if you and your doctor are willing, how to use a catheter yourself if you need to in an emergency where you can't urinate at all.
