Dear Sir,
I was suffering from BPH since 2009 and had medication (Silodosin) form time to time. Was checking the PSA levels periodically and on a recent check it was climbed to 6.5.
Advised by my consultant urologist to go for MRI and found some nodules and further advised to do the needle biopsy. The result says ADENOCARCINOMA OF PROSTATE INVOLVING BOTH LOBES. GEASONS SCORE 7 (3+4).
Advised for further bone scan and Surgery seems to be the option as per consultant. Planning to do next month.
Would love to hear your valuable comments.
Thanks and regards
Bony Chacko,

Ron here:
Dear Bony,
Sorry to hear your story. Only you can decide what to do at this stage.
Understanding cancer is a crucial step for you. I would read as much as you can about prostate cancer. Then you may be better able to decide what is best for you which may not be the same thing as your doctors will want to do.
Read my prostate cancer book, and other author's in the same genre. There is also a movie you can watch here:

This is a challenging time for you and only you know what is best for you. Take some time making decisions. No matter what you decide it is essential to improve your lifestyle and diet so that your body gets stronger.
And your mind needs feeding too. Positive affirmations and self talk are helpful to enhance your immune system.
Best of luck.
