I am a massage therapist who has a prospective client with a foley catheter. What are the contraindications to massage I should be aware of?

Ron here...
This is really a question for a urologist because prostate massage could aggravate both the bladder and the prostate.
Best to wait till after the catheter is out. But then prostate kegel squeezes are needed to rebuild the bladder sphincter function, slowly over time increasing them to 500-800 per day. Then perhaps a very gentle prostate massage would be OK to start.
