On July 21, 2020, I had a stent implanted in a heart artery that was 95% blocked. My cardiologist put me on Brilanta 90mg twice daily along with aspirin to thin my blood. He explained this was necessary to keep the stent free of blood clots. However, now I'm bleeding blood in my urine. I've had BPH for the past 20 years and have had bleeding prostate episodes in the past. These were minor and were quickly resolved. I've had two TURP procedures (the last about 3 years ago). It seems I'm a prime candidate for the PAE procedure and would travel anywhere in the US to receive this innovative approach since apparently it would resolve my bleeding issue as well as shrink the prostate which offers obvious side benefits.
Ron, can you direct me to the nearest hospital that performs PAE? Please help!

Ron here...
I have no idea if PAE can help your symptoms. And you would have to search for a hospital yourself as I do not have any more info than you.
Bleeding if significant should be looked at by your urologist before you do anything else.
Best of luck to you.
