ED after prostate surgery

by George
(Satsuma, AL, USA)

I had enlarged prostate surgery a few years ago and have had ED ever since. I have tried different things recommended to help to no avail. Is there any way to reverse the surgery so I can have an erection. I am 72 years old and still want to have sex with my wife of 52 years?

Ron here...

Gee, I wish I could answer that with a simple answer but can't.

ED - erectile difficulties - are often one of the consequences of the surgery that doctors downplay.

I would ask your doctor what you can do about it.

I would also ensure your diet is optimized and you are eating foods that enhance zinc in the prostate like oysters. You can see my Prostate Health Diet book for more info.

Also exercise especially body weight exercises and those that get your intensity up like High Intensity Exercises (see mercola.com for more on that) help to improve testosterone which unfortunately naturally declines as we get older.

You could also write the 3D Prostate Clinic to see if they can help you with this problem. On their website provide the answers to their questionnaire so they have all your info. Not sure they can help but worth asking.
