Is this just looking or will something happen that will cause me to urinate better ? If there is nothing more than an enlarged prostrate can anything really be done ?

Cystoscopy is a procedure that allows the urologist to see inside your prostate and bladder. That way they can determine if you have any issues. It is not a procedure that will change your condition.
If it proves you have an enlarged prostate the doctor will tell you what he thinks you should do. Then you have to decide what you want.
I would recommend you became very familiar with all the issues about the prostate by reading the content of this site or one of my books. Be informed before you decide anything.
